The List

This week, I've created two lists: a list of things that absolutely drive me crazy, and a list of things that make me smile. Here you go . . .
Things that drive me crazy:
1. People/business that run their automatic sprinklers overnight, every night, when the temperature gets down to 13 degrees.
2. Drivers who don't realize that when the temperature is only 13 degrees, that wet stuff on the street is slippery.
3. Drivers who don't notice that those small dotted lines on the pavement mean that someone else might be in the lane next to you, and you should stay in your own lane.
4. Teachers (and I can say this because I am one) who think that their agenda is the only agenda, that their assignments are all you have to do, etc. (Science Fair stinks.)
5. Running out of cold Diet Cokes.

Things that make me smile:
1. Waking up and realizing I still have an hour before my alarm goes off.
2. Finding out that our health insurance pays for the kids to get the nasal/inhaled flu vaccine.
3. Walking into the kids' rooms to turn off their lights when they're alseep, and their rooms are clean.
4. Finding one last cold Diet Coke in the back of the fridge.
5. The little jingle my new washer and dryer play when they're finished. Sweet!

Yup, we finally bit the big bullet and bought a new front-loading washer and dryer. They are so much bigger than my old ones - I usually do about 15 loads of laundry per week (or more), and last weekend, I only did about 8 loads and had all the laundry in the house done.

Life is good. Especially since the science projects for the boys are done and turned in.
